Hey guys, I have a Mad Force Kruiser VE that I bought new a long time ago. I've been running it off and on thru the years modifying it here and there. I recently fell in love with the truck again and I stripped out the rear diff ring gear. I had the helical cut gears in there and I can't seem to find them anywhere now. Anyone have any idea if they can still be found somewhere? Really the only mods I've done is the Thundertech racing steering eliminator kit, and I changed how the rear shock mount is braced cuz it was bending. I'm thinking about getting the Hot Racing ladder bars and possibly the Hot Racing aluminum axle housings if I can find them. I'm also looking for rear center shaft ideas. I have the MIP front center but I can't get the rear anymore. I'm thinking of using revo shafts but I'm not sure which shafts to get. I love this truck and I hope I can keep it going. Thanks guys!

Hi. Ebay would be your best bet for the ring and pinion. Inferno diffs were the same i think. Revo shafts, you would probably need two, then make them fit the 8mm shaft.

Ebay is usually the first place I go for parts and I found nothing. I think I checked for the inferno ring and pinion as well from the OP part #s and couldn't find anything. I did happen to come across crash n bash hobbies and they had 1 left so I snagged it. Hopefully I actually get it lol. So for the revo shafts is that just drilling out the hub for the output shaft or do I have to combine 2 to make 1 also? | |

I am after some harder springs than the stock reds for my custom Mad Crusher based projects. Can anybody suggest some springs that will fit the stock plastic shocks but are a deal stiffer. I need to support a very heavy custom body, much heavier than a lightweight lexan shell. I have moved the shocks to a more vertical position which helps but I need more out of the springs to take up the slack or droop as it were. Here's an early work in progress pic of the project in question. ![]() Thanks. |
