Is there anybody still here?! Eurocrawl is coming next year and I'd like to run another class. Mini sounds like a fun and cheap way to do that. Super would be another story, besides they are harder to pack and travel with So this is what I got on the mail: 100% RTR losi mini pro with a Novak 18.5 sensored brushless combo, all for a reasonable price. Body is used but still in reasonable shape Aluminum C-hubs with a lose pin that is already fixed. 15t pinion was also included A trip to the garden for some testing... It all worked! But I hate the small screws so SolidWorks and 3D Printer to the rescue! Had to print the object in a different position, this led to poor looks but, more importantly, a nice place to set the bearings. New top link mount Might need to make a V2 of this but for now it works. (Yes, I know the upper link on the chassis side is in the wrong side...) This now looks better and gives be more options for tunning. Poser shots Still lots of work ahead but having fun for now! |
