So I used to be very into rccrawling and had an assortment of rigs, sold most of them years ago and held on to a few rubber made tubs of parts. A friend of work is into it now and has a sweet trail honcho. I figured I would dig through and see if i could get something put together to mess around with. My first stop was here to see what the new hotness was for tlt axles. Instead of a new hotness I found that no one uses them anymore. Hahaha. I did see custom crawlerz post and checked out his web site. I liked the servo mounts/truss set up he had so I bought 2. Also got a pro crawler frame. Figured it would be a easy start and the price was right. In digging though my parts i found 4 tlt axles and a set of proline moabs, I didn't find a tranny so I ordered a knock off axial tranny from Amazon for 20 bucks. Ordered a set of links as well. I found an intergy 55t motor still in the bag and a hitec 645 servo. A stash of tq3 radios and receivers and some Novak esc. |
