| Steering servo link customizing
Before anyone jumps on me, the search function doesn't work for me. It won't let me type anything. The problem I have with my Ascender is that the angle of the steering link to servo horn (tie rod?) is too great, and this puts excess strain on the servo. One solution I can think of is to have spacers to allow the servo to drop down closer to the axle. I just can't find a ready-made solution for this. Another option would be to add a spacer where the tie rod screws into the drag link, but I think this would put unwanted stress on that point. Of course, I can just use a longer servo horn, but I wondered if anyone has tried my other options at all. Any ideas? Last edited by Stoovey2004; 05-13-2021 at 03:34 AM. |
