Whats everyones thoughts on The Castle Mamba X Waterproof Sensored Brushless Combo with 2280Kv Slate 1406 Motor, for my Trail King build. Not looking for speed, mostly crawling with a little trail work. Will this have slow control with some manageable pop? |

I run the mamba x with a slate 3800kv in mine and wouldnt really change anything. Although the mamba x is overkill for it & I coulda gotten away with just running a copperhead 10 instead

imo, both, particularly the motor is too much. thats basically an 8th scale motor. Id go with the Mamba and a Slate motor, or a Puller Pro from Holmes, or similar.

Good combo, less motor would be better. Quite honestly if a Hobbywing Fusion will fit it is hard to beat. No ESC to mount and slow crawling is excellent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
