So after some disappointment with the general quality of two RC4WD Gellande RTR vehicles I bought (cheap screws, wobbly bearing clearances in the axle, etc which I covered in another thread) I decided to go a bit different route and pulled the trigger on the ROCHOBBY 1/6 mb scaler, something larger than 1:10. While not really a true crawler in my opinion (more of a scale vehicle that is also rc) you can't fault the scale detail and the reviews I've read don't seem to be too bad either.

Now on to the Capo. I know this is like comparing apples to oranges because of the material difference (mostly metal in the Capo and mostly plastic in the MB Scaler) and also because of the large price difference but I'm curious about a general comparison between the two. I did the usual web search and have come up short.

My MB scaler hasn't arrived yet so I can't give my impressions but one obvious thing is that both the Capo and he MB have the same HUGE (in my opinion) snafu/booboo in that they're not leaf suspension like their 1:1 cousins but coil shocks instead. That's why I went for the MB instead of the Capo. At what the Capo costs (about 3X more than the MB) I just can't accept the coil suspension. On a side note the prices of some of the big crawlers like the Capo or even the SCX6 are just ridiculous. I'd rather spend the $1000 or $1500 on my full size car ($1500 would buy a nice intake/carb system for my small block bowtie) than to sink it into what is essentially still a toy.

Anyways, what do you all say about the two?
