| Redneck Ecto
Picked up a Ecto from my local classifieds a few months ago. It was basically stock with Capra wheels and tires. Since then I've made a few changes. Injora wheels, Proline BF Krawler T/A KX in G8 compound and Proline dual stage foams. Rock Pirate sliders, Bow House RC lcg batt. Tray, SSD Brass knuckles, CHUBS, 6mm Wheel Hexes, Diff cover and IERC shock towers. This all led me to rethink the rear of the truck. I wasn't a big fan of the rear trailing arm system. After some research and help from others on this site I decided to go 4 link. I swapped out the trailing arms for Club5Racing Element Knightrunner Husky links and Rock Pirate shock towers. I like 4 link so much more. It allows me to run this thing so low in a droop setup. It handles so much better on the rocks. I'm not a go fast guy. So far I'm pumped about the switch. First pic is how it looked when I picked it up. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk |
