A while ago I had one of these chassis with the bearing kit at home and couldn't even ride it. Now I have one from a close and cheap RTR friend, also with a bearing kit and sprocket kit, it also has something else you can see in the pictures, the parcel arrives tomorrow hehehe : ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And on the other hand, also a close friend, I took the tamiya rigid body, he has a job, that's what I wanted, but he is whole and healthy, that's what matters, next to home and very cheap. ![]() ![]() ![]() Now to put the two parts together, revive the bodywork, do an interior and take measurements to see if I can put an ARB bumper on it. I have a plan for the future with this chassis, but all in due time I asked Ihobbies for a paint kit they lent me an airbrush to see how it is and a sticker kit they are throwing but they are worth it hehehehe ![]() ![]() And tomorrow when the car with the Jimny combination arrives, I will take measurements to see if this bumper or a similar one is worth it for the Pajero: ![]() |

Now to put the two parts together, revive the body, make an interior and take measurements to see if I can put an ARB bumper on it. I have a plan for the future with this chassis, but everything in due time We continue, the jimny's bumper is not valid, it would be a hilux by size, anyway, as what I want is to put a winch, and spend little, I think that a trx6 amg bumper could be adapted. For now some photos from yesterday; [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1367] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1369] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1368] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1371] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1370] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1372] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1374] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1373] ![]() And today Christmas morning I started with the refurbishment... clean some bearings, I'll touch foams and suspensions, I'll change the 26t for 45t, I don't like the cardan system that it has, just like the one with the bearings although there is no solution there . When I go back again I will start with the pajero bodysuit [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1377] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1375] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1376] ![]() Well, the axles are ready, bearings are well greased and stainless steel screws, I have also put brass bushings on the brackets, to be able to put standard stainless steel screws [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1378] ![]() I have made more progress, pending the 45t to mount the tranny, I already have the chassis finished with stainless steel screws, homemade links with traxxas ball joint and metal ball, incision shock absorbers with mst springs. At the moment it is like this: [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1381] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1380] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1379] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1383] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1384] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1382] ![]() And here are some photos with the body simply resting on the heels, poor Pajero, he needs love, that's what's next hahaha [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1385] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1387] ![]() [url=https://servimg.com/view/18949632/1386] ![]() |
