Shock Ends

Hello.

I recently got a Baja Rey and am just waiting for some diff fluid to arrive to correct that traction issue. This thing is a ton of fun for my first fast AWD R/C. Drifting in grass with great handling is a new experience for me after a lot of 2wd time.

But, I did pull a rear shock out of the end link. Thankfully, I was able to find the spring. It seemed to go back together well, but I am wondering if folks have a recommendation for the end links? If not, can you post of a part number that doesn't include the caps?

I tried searching with no luck.

Thanks!

Bump?

Rock Rey advice would work also. Haha!

Take them all off, put a tab of silicone or ca glue on the threads and reassemble. Make sure not to over tighten and strip the threads out. Have had to do this on all of my losi models but since then havnt had another problem.

Thanks, but the threads were pretty much gone after the first time that it happened. A friend with a BR had the same issue on the same shock.

The $20+ parts with the unneeded caps wasn't a route that I wanted to go. So, I gave these alloy ones a shot over the weekend:

Matching threads, but the bushing is about 2mm too narrow, so I shimmed it. Used a bit of thread locker just in case. Swapped them on both rears to start.

The spring seats are too small of a diameter for our springs, so I reused the sotck ones.
