Harley's Recap of the 2012 Axial Northwest Scale Championship

Axial kicked in some great prizes being the title sponsor, as well has RC4WD, Hand Bros, Locked Up RC, Mad Dog RC, Cow RC, Kling-on Racks, Team3Six, SDS Customs, Mayhem, Quicksand, MG200, Holmes Hobbies, Overkill, Wicked Wolf, Krawler Concepts, and I am sure others but these are just off the top of my head. I was given the privilege of hosting the giveaway. This is my absolute favorite thing to do! Everyone is always excited for this and the Crawler Vendor community embraces this more than any sport I have ever seen. While we were doing giveaway Ryan Gerrish intermixed the concourse awards. Check out the swag thread for the goodies as people start posting them up – 2012 NSC Shwag thread. Thank our Vendors and show it off! . I had won a Hand Bro’s CMS kit for an SCX10 but I sat it on the table in front of me and then forgot I had won it and gave it away as if it were still a raffle prize! HAHA! I did however get one of the slick Kling-On racks, it will definitely go to use.

The rest of the night I spent tracking down TTC competitors and doing as many of the interviews as I could. Only a few of the guys were not staying at the hotel so I was able to knock most of them out, only had a few guys to track down the next morning.
