Pictures from November 2021 were apparently taken outside. The chipped paint on the wall took me back in time - I used to live in Sao Martinho do Porto many years ago. Beautiful country. Oh - and the crawler looks good too!

This thread is so old that is affected from when PhotoBucket went offline. I'll have to paint that wall as soon as the weather allows it ![]() Update on the bumper: Upper section is done. First time using brake line instead of solid rod. Harder to work with but way lighter. Added 2 tow points in 2mm steel wire. They always come in handy. If weather allows, I will paint it ![]() ![]() ![]() | |

Spray painted black to scratch easily. Improved skidplate with mirrored transfer case and small changes to be easier to work with. Also printed a modified servo/bumper mount: Now has holes to hold the body at the front. Put bodyposts facing down mounted on pre-existing body screw holes ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yep - there's that paint again. Don't know why but when I was there the whole country's walls looked like that!

Finally finished the gearbox. Before, was machined in aluminium. I did this one printed because it went to the opposite side. It shares the same internals so the gear ratio is still 1:12 Also did a metal motor mount to hold everything firmly. At the moment, I'm printing the battery tray but already test this Fusion SE 1800kv. I'm not used to this quality stuff! so smooth and so silent. The truck can go really slow with no hiccups ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Had some troubles printing this. It's not perfect but is good, for now. Need some modifications in order to be easier to put the bumper's screws Notice the high-tech method of holding the battery. There's several colors available to suit my mood!! ![]() ![]() |

This has been a bit slow so people started calling and ask:"hey Cooper, how does the JK is going?" Usually I reply with: -"Who are you? How did you got my number?" ![]() Like on the LC70 build, struggled to get the inner fenders fitting properly...the shape of the JK is not that straighforward. After sorting the body mount solution, could do the fenders and give the final touches . ![]() ![]() ![]() |
